Authorization happens on your utility’s own site through a licensed Green Button intermediary. We receive permission to read your data — never the credentials behind it. There is no field in this product that asks for a utility login, because we have no use for one.

Do you ever see my utility password?
No. Authorization happens on your utility's own website through UtilityAPI, a licensed Green Button / Share My Data intermediary. Your credentials go to your utility. We receive a token that lets us read your data — never the login itself, and we could not retrieve it if we wanted to.
What exactly do you collect?
Your billing history — statement dates, total usage, total cost, and every individual line item — plus interval consumption at fifteen-minute resolution, typically for the past twelve to twenty-four months. We also get your service address, meter numbers, and rate plan so we can label everything correctly.
Can I revoke access?
Any time, from your account settings or directly with your utility. Revoking stops all future collection immediately. Data already collected stays until you delete it, which you can also do yourself in one click.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use your interval data to build a profile for anyone but you. Every third party that touches your data is listed publicly on our subprocessors page.
